We take shipping VERY seriously at liven UP. We make sure that all of our items are packed securely and to the shippers specifications so that they will make it to their final destination unharmed. It is a loss for everybody when damage occurs. We do NOT want this to happen, so we do everything we can to ensure that it doesn't!
Our clients are responsible for shipping charges. Quotes will be given BEFORE the project is underway and are based on the zip code provided at that time. Any changes to the original order or the addition of items after purchase incurs extra shipping charges. Change of destination zip code could mean an increase in shipping / freight charges.
Our larger, custom built items require custom made boxes or crates.
We can ship to a receiver or residence. Residential delivery is more costly.
Please disclose all information about delivery. We must be made aware of all delivery details. LivenUP will not assume responsibility for extra charges associated with any impediments to deliver your item.
Please provide all the necessary info: Is this an apartment building? Is the driveway long and narrow? Are the roads windy? Is it a one-lane road? Etc. etc…
DAMAGES:
*In the sad event that something happens to your item during shipment, PLEASE NOTIFY US RIGHT AWAY! The more time that passes, the less likely we are to be able to file a claim.
All freight deliveries must be examined thoroughly PRIOR to signing for delivery. Any box damage has to be noted on the SIGNED delivery receipt and given to the driver in order to process an insurance claim.
Any dents, punctures, scrapes, ripped cardboard should be noted. If there is damage, please open the box and inspect the contents for further issues. ANYTHING and EVERYTHING should be noted in writing and given to the driver.
If there are ANY damages to packaging when a shipment arrives, PLEASE RETAIN ALL PACKAGING. Inspect the item(s) thoroughly for any damages and report to liven UP staff within 24 hours of receipt. DO NOT THROW AWAY PACKAGING.
We insure all shipments, but if we are to process a claim, we must follow the freight carriers protocol or they will not honor the claim. We will require your cooperation to get the item repaired and/or replaced expeditiously. If you choose NOT to follow the instructions/guidelines outlined above, then you will become liable and must resolve the issues on your own.
